Share Tanzania operates in rural Tanzania, in the foot hills of mount Kilimanjaro, since 2014. They care for special needs children, homeless or orphaned children, and assists community children in going back to school. Their founder John St Julien moved to the region 7 years ago to create a place for vulnerable children to be safe, secure, and cared for. Through his and his team’s tireless efforts they have created Featherstale Children’s Village for special needs children, and Angels Gate Home for street involved boys. The children are provided with shelter, full-time education, meals, clothing, and access to medical care when needed.
Share Tanzania is currently in the process of building their second campus in the area of Dodoma to increase their capacity and scope in order to reach more children who are in need.
